Family campingsite in ardèche with accomodations to rent and shady pitches.

Opened from April 01 th to September 30 th, Iserand is a human-sized family campsite with a big swimming pool-paddling pool offering 180 m² of water surface. Iserand***Campsite contains 60 pitches of which 12 accomodations and every pitch expresses the charms of _Ardèche Verte.
Iserand is _plugged with Nature_ and you will find on site an arboretum with over 50 different species of trees, indicating a vocation to work for biodiversity.
Settled on terraces, this three stars graded campground enjoys the mediterranean climate convenient to the famous Saint-Joseph AOC wine terroir which is blooming on the hillsides nearby.
Easily accessible by the RD86, the campsite is situated at an altitude of 120 m, 300 m from the Rhône and 100 m from the ViaRhona green path which connects the Léman lake to the Camargue.

Many different services, many activities are proposed in July and August but no late music entertainment.
Concerning the outdoor activities and to mention only the extraordinary visits or excursions not to be missed, it turns out that the campsite***Iserand is framed by the following sites:
- The incredible PALAIS IDEAL of Ferdinand CHEVAL in Hauterives to the east (30 km).
- The SAFARI DE PEAUGRES to the north (20 km), a huge zoo with a large playground.
- The bucolic VELORAIL in the gorges of the sweet in Boucieu-le-Roi to the West (20 km).
- The famous CITE DU CHOCOLAT in TAIN-L'HERMITAGE to the south (10 km).
As for the cave of PONT D'ARC, replica of the most ancient decorated Cave of the World (34000 years), it is located at about a hundred km.

Our Green ardeche turns out to be most beautiful from one season
to the next.
You can spend hours in awe in front of this show with shades
of greens, enhanced by the mineral variegated Granites.
Both Doux and Rhône rivers crisscross a landscape of hills
and the whole is crowned by a small white cloud that takes time
away in the blue of the sky.
But gently since the Doux (which means soft) is the River of
the Ardèche Verte.
